Welcome to the Biocenter of the University of Wuerzburg
The Biocenter comprises 15 departments belonging to the faculties of Biology (10), Medicine (4), and Chemistry and Pharmacology. It is represented in public by the center Speaker.
Within the Biocenter outstanding research results are obtained by the combination of molecular and organismic approaches. Many publications in internationally regarded journals, the contribution to several special research programs (SFBs) and international honours and awards highlight the quality of the research done here.
